- Understanding the room system and pricing policy: We worked closely with the client to analyze room types and pricing policies, considering factors such as seasonal pricing, duration-based discounts, and promotional offers. A Minimum Viable Product (MVP) was rapidly developed using ReactJS and NextJS, allowing real-time updates and seamless UI interactions. Vite’s rapid development capabilities enabled fast iterations, while Ant Design (Antd) and Tailwind CSS ensured a responsive and visually consistent experience across all devices.
- Seamless Booking Procedures and Promotions: A feature-rich CMS was also developed, enabling hotel administrators to manage branches, rooms, amenities, and bookings with ease. A calendar-based scheduling system provided clear oversight of reservations, while role-based account management ensured smooth operational control. The frontend supported an advanced cart functionality, allowing users to select multiple rooms for different durations, view total pricing in real-time, and apply combo discounts before completing their bookings.
- Develop a Rapid MVP to Demo and Validate: The backend, powered by NestJS, efficiently managed core business logic, including dynamic price calculations based on room type, booking duration, and applicable promotions. PostgreSQL was used for structured data management, ensuring accurate pricing and availability tracking. To boost performance, Redis was integrated for caching frequently accessed data, such as room availability and pricing details, reducing load times and enhancing the overall user experience.
