About TechHub

A Hanoi engineering company built by an engineer.

TechHub was founded in 2020. We had spent a decade inside outsourcing and product teams and wanted to fix what we kept seeing go wrong in both.

Our story

How did TechHub get here?

Ten years of building teams from Hanoi, one engagement at a time.

  • 2020Founded in Hanoi

TechHub starts as a small engineering team with a simple rule that has not changed since: we only put forward people we employ and would put on our own product.

    First international clients

Early engagements in mobile and web development for clients in Europe and APAC establish the augmentation model — engineers working inside the client’s process rather than behind a project wall.

  • 2021First long-running offshore team

A client converts a two-engineer engagement into a standing team, which forces the discipline we still run on: written daily updates, sprint ceremonies in the client’s calendar, and a named account lead.

  • 2022–2023Workforce services

Clients hiring in Vietnam without an entity push us into Employer of Record, payroll and HR outsourcing.

    Platform work at scale

Projects grow from features to systems — a ride-hailing platform serving 100,000+ users, logistics integrations, and the first inventory and HRM products.

  • 2024–2025AI, blockchain and BOT programmes

Demand shifts towards machine learning, generative and agentic AI, smart contracts, and Build-Operate-Transfer programmes where clients want a centre they will eventually own.

  • 2026100,000+ engineers in talent pool, 12 countries

A talent network of 100,000+ candidates and a 90% client satisfaction rate.

What we believe

What does TechHub stand for?

Commitments that decide how we behave when an engagement gets difficult.

Employed, not brokered

Every engineer you interview is on our payroll in Hanoi. If we would not put them on our own product, we do not put them on yours.

Say the smaller number

When a two-person engagement solves the problem, we say so — even when a five-person one is on the table. Longer relationships are worth more than larger first invoices.

Accountable after the signature

Retention, replacement and delivery reporting are our responsibility for the life of the engagement, not until the first invoice clears.

Evidence over assurance

Policy documents, named contacts and reporting — the things a compliance team can actually check.

Engineers who stay

Retention is a client benefit before it is an HR metric. Continuity is what protects your institutional knowledge across a multi-year roadmap.

Local depth, not a global veneer

One delivery centre, one culture, one standard — rather than a network of subcontractors you never meet.

Inside TechHub

What is the company actually like?

One development centre in Hanoi, one standard, one team you can visit.

We are not a network of subcontractors. Everyone works from our own centre in Hanoi, which is why the engineer you interview is the engineer who ships, and why an account lead can walk to a delivery team when something needs resolving in an hour rather than a sprint.

Internally the rhythm is deliberate: weekly technical workshops, internal tech talks where engineers present what they learned on a client project, and support for people speaking at community events such as Vietnam Mobile Day and the Hyperledger meetups hosted in Hanoi. Clients benefit from that indirectly — an engineer who has to explain a decision to peers writes clearer code and better documentation.

Governance

How is TechHub governed?

Clear contracts, a documented process and an audit trail your compliance team can review.

In practice that means role-based access to repositories and environments, device and password policy, segregated networks in the Hanoi centre, logged access to production data, and a documented offboarding checklist so credentials do not outlive an engagement.

Contractually, intellectual property in everything we build is assigned to your company, NDAs cover every individual on the engagement, and we can sign your own security addendum or data-processing agreement. Clients in fintech, healthcare and insurance have taken our teams through their own vendor security reviews.

  • Full IP assignment to the client
  • NDAs on every individual
  • Named compliance contact per engagement
  • Documented onboarding and offboarding

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where is TechHub based?
In its own development centre in Hanoi, Vietnam. All engineers work from that centre rather than as a distributed network of subcontractors, which is what makes a single vetting and delivery standard possible.
How big is TechHub?
TechHub runs a talent pool of 100,000+ engineers, supported by a talent network of over 100,000 screened candidates in Vietnam, serving clients in 12 countries with a 90% client satisfaction rate.
What industries has TechHub worked in?
Fintech and payments, digital banking, insurance, healthcare and telemedicine, education, retail and e-commerce, logistics and transportation, manufacturing, real estate, hospitality and travel, food and beverage, SaaS and Web3.
Can we visit the team in Hanoi?
Yes, and clients regularly do. Visiting the centre, meeting the engineers and sitting in on a sprint ceremony is the fastest way to judge whether a partner is what they claim to be.
How does TechHub differ from a recruitment agency?
A recruitment agency introduces candidates and invoices a placement fee. We employ the engineers, remain their legal employer, manage retention, replace poor fits at our cost during the trial period, and report on delivery for the life of the engagement.
